Email marketing becomes so much easier when you use a tool that makes the process painless. I have tried many of them; Mailchimp, Mailerlite, Constant Contact, and Flodesk to name a few. I settled on AWeber for my business’s needs as well as many of my clients’ needs. Is AWeber right for you? What about AWeber Free? Find out more about why I love them, why you’ll love them, and the amazing services offered with the free account level!
Why pick AWeber Free?

Why do I love AWeber, even before they launched AWeber Free? Without a doubt, it is their customer service that makes me love them. It is the number one reason I tell people that I opted for AWeber. No matter what level you select, AWeber Free or Pro, customer support is phenomenal.
Great customer service
All of their support people are US based and offer 24/7 chat availability. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than maybe 5 or 10 minutes to talk to someone. Typically, someone immediately responds.
Phone support during office hours, they’re on the East Coast, is always answered really quickly. Recently, I emailed them about something and I heard back in less than 15 minutes, so great customer support.
Free migration services
Making the switch between email marketing services is a pain, I get it. However, AWeber Free and Pro versions want to make it a bit easier by offering to help you make the move by migrating from your old provider to AWeber. Fill out a simple form and let the migration happen without the headache.
Tons of easy-to-use templates
As I said before, the customer support is amazing. That applies to the easy-to-use templates they offer. There are tons of templates. They exist for email newsletters, campaigns, signup forms, and landing pages.
And you have technical support available if you get “stuck” while building a campaign or newsletter using the templates or designing from scratch.
Landing Pages
If you have looked at landing page programs or services for your business before you know that you can spend a lot of money every month on these services. With AWeber Free, you can create robust landing pages with the ability to review the analytics and measure the success of different landing pages you create, from scratch, or using their amazing templates.
Subscriber tagging and segmentation
Though AWeber Free doesn’t offer all of the segmentation features of AWeber Pro, you can use tagging to track your subscribers and target your email campaigns. Tagging also allows you to see which way you captured a subscriber’s information so you can know which marketing tools are working and how to cultivate the relationship to generate sales.
Weekly online office hours
This is something I just discovered recently about AWeber, that on their Facebook business page and AWeber community group that you can join when you’re a customer they do weekly office hours. They provide training and answer user questions. Since they do not have thousands of people on at a time you can get some very personalized and detailed help. They also like input of what works or doesn’t work from a customer perspective. Like I said earlier, amazing customer service!
Automations
Automations are key to growing your business. Rather than just collecting emails and then eventually sending out a newsletter once a month or so, automation lets you connect and engage with your subscribers from the moment they subscribe.
AWeber makes it super easy to set up automation. They have templates right when you sign in to your new account. There’s a template ready to go that you can customize with your own language and branding. Once you have an automation set up, when someone subscribes you can send them an automated “thank you for subscribing” email. Your automation sequence can be set up to send as many emails as you want. So while you’re sleeping, spending time with family, or working on other parts of your business, your email marketing is working to engage your audience, completely hands-off.
The more you engage with them and connect with them, the more you move them through your sales funnel. And that is how they turn into paying customers, right?
One big reason to pick the pro version
If you have been utilizing a mailing list for a while and you have already grown and cultivated a list of over 500 unique users than you’ll need the pro plan. Awesome work!
