Top 3 Meal Planning Tips For Busy Entrepreneurs
Even the most organized busy entrepreneurs can have a hard time with meal planning. For many of us, especially if we work from home, healthy meals seem to take a backseat to our businesses. A handful of almonds and a bite of yogurt might be all you have time for between conference calls! But if you want to bring more organization and consistency to your meal plans, I’m here to tell you that you can!
Here are my Top 3 Meal Planning Tips for Busy Entrepreneurs! Need some work from home tips? Check out this post!
- KEEP A RUNNING GROCERY LIST on your phone or on paper.
Rather than building a grocery list on your shopping day, every time you think of something you need to WRITE IT DOWN. My husband will usually make an unplanned trip to Trader Joe’s every couple of weeks to help me out. We have a shared list on our phones, so he just grabs the things on the list! It’s a huge time saver. - GROCERY DELIVERY – In my experience, having our groceries delivered has been a time saver AND a money saver. Once a week we have the bulk of our groceries delivered by Amazon Fresh. But you can sign up for grocery delivery almost anywhere now…Safeway, Ralph’s, Vons, etc. We have even had Costco groceries delivered via InstaCart!
- MEAL PREP DELIVERY – This isn’t necessarily a money saver. But it is a time saver and a great way to make meal planning more fun. When you get in a slump and are bored of making the same meals week after week, a meal prep delivery can spice things ups (ha! get it? spice things up). We have tried several different meal delivery companies…Blue Apron, ACME Farms, Sun Basket, and HelloFresh. HelloFresh has been our favorite so far.
